On December 23, 2025, the Dancing with STEAM project officially kicked off. Funded by the Erasmus+ KA210 YOUTH program (Project Number: 2025-1-FR02-KA210-YOU-000349743), the project aims to integrate dance and theatre into STEAM education, making learning more creative, inclusive, and engaging for young people.
We at FICUS ETS, together with the coordinator CIE ESSEVĂSSE, participated in the Kick-off Meeting, where the first steps and upcoming activities of the project were planned.
The project focuses on several key objectives:
-
Developing youth skills, enhancing creativity, critical thinking, digital skills, and active participation, with special attention to disadvantaged youth.
-
Training youth workers, providing interdisciplinary tools and methods to use performing arts in STEAM education.
-
Promoting inclusion and diversity, valuing identity and intercultural dialogue.
-
Encouraging personal growth through dance as a tool for self-expression, emotional awareness, and identity development.
The first two planned activities are in-person trainings for youth workers:
đ Italy: late January â early February 2026
đ France: late February â early March 2026
Dancing with STEAM opens an innovative path where art and technology meet to create new opportunities for learning and personal growth for young people.
