On March 17th at 16:00 CET, FICUS ETS, partner of the European project STITCH (Erasmus+ KA220-SCH – 2025-1-IT02-KA220-SCH-000353351), will take part in the first official project webinar entitled:
Where Sustainability, Creativity, Science and Innovation Shape Europe’s Education
The webinar is addressed to teachers, school leaders and education professionals who want to integrate sustainability into teaching practice in a structured and interdisciplinary way.
STITCH proposes an innovative educational model that uses sustainable fashion as an entry point to connect science, technology, creativity and responsible consumption within a STEAM framework.
This is not just a thematic project.
STITCH aims to embed sustainability into the curriculum, turning it into measurable, applicable learning aligned with European green transition priorities.
During the webinar we will:
– present the project, its European partnership and strategic objectives
– explain the STITCH educational model and its STEAM rationale
– explore why fashion is an effective tool to address environmental impact and informed choices
– highlight the key role of lower secondary education in shaping responsible citizens
The webinar will take place online via Microsoft Teams.
