FICUS ETS took part in the online digital training cycle of the Dancing with STEAM project (2025-1-FR02-KA210-YOU-000349743), co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme, contributing to the development and testing of innovative methodologies for non-formal education.
The training, structured over two intensive sessions, engaged youth workers in a learning experience focused on integrating digital tools, performing arts, and embodied learning approaches.
During the first day, participants explored digital tools such as Padlet, Canva, and Genially, gaining insight into their functionalities and educational potential. The aim was to provide practical tools to support participatory, collaborative, and inclusive learning processes.
FICUS ETS actively contributed to the methodological reflection, promoting an approach in which technology is not an end in itself, but a tool to enhance educational experiences and foster active participation among young people.
The second day focused on practical application. Youth workers worked in small groups to translate embodied experiences and group dynamics into digital content. Among the activities, the creation of Body Signals Maps allowed participants to transform physical signals such as breathing, posture, and tension into visual representations, enhancing awareness of learning processes.
The training also introduced advanced tools and technologies, including Augmented Reality (AR), enabling the connection between physical materials and digital content, and pose detection systems (such as MediaPipe), which allow movement to be analysed and visualised as data, highlighting patterns and structures.
Particular attention was also given to video-making and digital storytelling as key tools to support reflection, narration, and critical thinking in educational contexts.
Through this experience, FICUS ETS strengthens its commitment to developing innovative educational practices that integrate creativity, technology, and active participation.
The next phase of the project will focus on the practical implementation of the developed methodologies through workshops with young people, aiming to create inclusive, interactive, and meaningful learning experiences.
