FICUS ETS joins the AI+ Conference with the 4th International Webinar of the Erasmus+ STITCH Project

FICUS ETS is proud to take part in the prestigious AI+ Conference through the organisation and promotion of the 4th international webinar of the Erasmus+ project STITCH – Sustainability Through Innovation, Training, Creativity & STEAM Horizons (Project No. 2025-1-IT02-KA220-SCH-000353351).

The webinar, entitled “Stitching the Future: AI and Digital Tools as Enablers of Sustainable Fashion”, will take place online on 28 May 2026 at 16:00 CET and will be hosted by Smart Innovation Norway within the framework of one of the most relevant international conferences dedicated to Artificial Intelligence, innovation, and digital transformation.

This event represents an important milestone for the STITCH project, bringing sustainable fashion education into an international ecosystem focused on emerging technologies and future-oriented innovation. Through this initiative, the project aims to demonstrate how AI and digital tools can support more sustainable, circular, and responsible approaches within the textile and fashion sector while also becoming practical educational resources for schools and educators.

The webinar will explore how artificial intelligence is already transforming the fashion industry through applications connected to circular economy, second-hand retail, digital design, automated processes, and waste reduction strategies. At the same time, the session will focus on how these innovations can be translated into accessible and engaging learning experiences for younger generations through STEAM education approaches.

A key contribution will be provided by Einar Michaelsen, founder of Circular AI, who will present concrete examples of AI-supported solutions currently used in the fashion and retail sectors to optimise second-hand clothing management, pricing systems, garment identification, and circular business models.

The webinar will also feature practical demonstrations and educational resources presented by Stian Melhus together with Danka Ördög. Their session will focus on accessible digital and AI-based tools that teachers and educators can directly adapt for classroom activities related to sustainable fashion, eco-design, digital creativity, and responsible consumption.

The event is particularly relevant for teachers, educators, sustainability professionals, researchers, fashion stakeholders, youth workers, and anyone interested in the relationship between technology, sustainability, and education.

Through its participation in STITCH, FICUS ETS continues to support innovative educational methodologies capable of connecting sustainability, creativity, citizenship, and digital competences while promoting more conscious and future-oriented learning opportunities for younger generations.
