A truly special month has come to an end for children aged 4 to 15 from the Eighth District of Palermo, thanks to the support of the Municipality of Palermo. The initiative offered young participants a comprehensive educational experience, filled with workshops, games, art, and discovery, combining fun and learning in an engaging and meaningful way.
The workshops covered a wide range of interests and skills:
-
Art and Crafting: Younger children experimented with different materials, developing manual skills and creativity, while older participants explored advanced artistic techniques and projects, learning to express their ideas through creative work.
-
Storytelling: From creating their own stories to guided narratives, children developed communication skills, imagination, and language comprehension, crafting stories that reflected their emotions and interests.
-
Resource Management: Educational activities aimed at raising awareness about sustainability, environmental care, and responsible resource management, with practical experiments and interactive games.
-
Robotics and Coding: Older children had the opportunity to explore technology, learning the basics of programming and robotics through hands-on activities, enhancing logical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork.
-
Theatre and Music: Workshops allowed participants to express emotions and creativity through movement, acting, and music, building self-confidence and social skills.
These activities provided a full educational journey, where each child could discover new interests, try out different skills, and interact with peers in a safe and stimulating environment.
The initiative was made possible thanks to the dedication and commitment of the associations Ficus ETS, Koinè, and Tetra Cordes, which coordinated the activities with professionalism, passion, and attention to the needs of the children.
A heartfelt thank you goes to everyone who helped make this project an unforgettable experience for the children and families of the Eighth District of Palermo, demonstrating how culture, creativity, and participation can grow together, offering young people concrete opportunities for growth and discovery.
