The STITCH project will deliver tangible results by deepening the understanding of sustainable fashion and its environmental impact among students, teachers, and communities. Schools will adopt upcycling and repair techniques to reduce textile waste, while community events will showcase student-led sustainable fashion solutions, promoting eco-friendly practices.

Furthermore, the project will provide educational resources, such as digital toolkits and lesson plans, to help schools integrate sustainability into their curricula.

The project is fully aligned with the key priorities of the European Union. It supports the European Green Deal and the Circular Economy Action Plan by promoting sustainable consumption and waste reduction. It also contributes to the EU’s Education for Climate Coalition, highlighting the role of students in driving environmental change.

By integrating STEAM education, the project aligns with the Digital Education Action Plan and promotes gender equality in STEAM fields by actively involving girls in sustainable innovation.
