The new website is the project’s central digital hub, designed to bring together all project activities, results, news and resources in one accessible and engaging platform. Throughout the project’s lifetime, it will serve as the main point of reference for participants, stakeholders, organisations and anyone interested in reducing plastic pollution through practical, everyday actions.
A European project for a plastic-free future
Plastic pollution is one of the greatest environmental challenges of our time, and meaningful change starts with individual actions.
EcoHeroes was created to empower adults to adopt more sustainable habits through an innovative gamification approach. Instead of simply providing information, the project encourages participants to actively engage in environmental challenges that gradually transform awareness into long-lasting behavioural change.
From monitoring daily plastic consumption and identifying hidden microplastics to adopting sustainable alternatives, rediscovering local markets and creating upcycled objects from plastic waste, every EcoMission demonstrates that even small actions can have a significant impact on our communities and the environment.
