STITCH Project: the first newsletter is now online

The first newsletter of the STITCH project – Sustainability Through Innovation, Training, Creativity & STEAM Horizons (Project n. 2025‑1‑IT02‑KA220‑SCH‑000353351) – is now available online.

STITCH is a Cooperation Partnership in School Education co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, bringing together partners from Italy, Greece, Spain, Estonia, Turkey and Norway. The project aims to promote sustainability in the textile and fashion sector by integrating STEAM approaches into educational practices, with a focus on lower secondary education.

This first newsletter provides an overview of the project’s objectives, partnership and initial activities. It introduces the educational vision behind STITCH, highlighting its interdisciplinary approach and its focus on competence-based learning, innovation and environmental awareness.

The newsletter also marks the beginning of the project’s dissemination activities, aiming to engage teachers, educators and stakeholders interested in exploring sustainable fashion as a concrete entry point for STEAM education.

FICUS ETS is proud to be part of the STITCH partnership, contributing to the development and dissemination of innovative educational methodologies at both local and European level.
