Un’ora per Palermo – Operational Tools and Opportunities for Local Associations

The “Un’ora per Palermo” network, promoted by FICUS ETS, is organising its first training workshop dedicated to local associations, with the aim of strengthening the operational capacities of Third Sector organisations and fostering a stronger, more collaborative and impact-oriented local network.

The initiative was created to provide practical support to organisations in administrative management, project development and the creation of territorial synergies, offering a space for discussion among organisations actively working within the Palermo area.

The workshop will serve as a practical training opportunity addressing some of the main operational aspects related to the functioning and growth of associations. In particular, participants will explore registration procedures for RUNTS, access to and management of the Italian “5×1000” tax allocation scheme, as well as opportunities linked to project development and associative activities.

A dedicated session will also focus on strengthening local networks and promoting joint initiatives, with special attention given to summer activities. In addition, participants will receive information about local support tools, including sports vouchers and procedures for the allocation of municipal and metropolitan school gyms.

The meeting will also represent an important opportunity for dialogue among associations, encouraging the exchange of experiences, the identification of common local needs and the development of new collaborations within the territory.

Councillor Lawyer Canto will also participate in the initiative and join the discussion with participating associations.

The event will take place at the meeting room of Associazione L’Agrumeto inside Villa Castelnuovo (Viale del Fante 66 – Palermo) on Saturday, 16 May starting from 10:00 AM.

Participation is open to all interested associations.
